The College of Physicians and Surgeons also offers several dual degrees.  The M.D./Ph.D. program is designed to provide students training in basic and clinical science with an emphasis on translational research, preparing students for a career in research and/or clinical medicine.  Electives in neurology and psychiatry are available.
